Naturopathic Medicine with Dr. Amy Florian, BSc, ND

As a naturopathic doctor (ND), Amy works to treat the root cause of your symptoms. She does not prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, but makes natural health recommendations and works to improve the sleep, stress, exercise, diet, etc., of her patients.

Naturopathic treatments are evidence-based and naturally focused. Naturopathic doctors are not anti-conventional medicine, but provide complimentary treatments to those provided by medical doctors.

Amy is passionate about natural medicine and loves to teach her patients how to live happier, healthier lives. When Amy is not seeing patients, you can find her enjoying all the beautiful Valley has to offer with her husband, son, and daughter.

Amy has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Dalhousie University and a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She holds professional memberships with the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta.

Naturopathic treatments may include lifestyle counseling, dietary modification, physical medicine (including acupuncture), herbs and supplements.

Direct billing available!

Prospective patients do not need a referral to see a Naturopathic Doctor. Appointments are covered by most private health insurance plan. Direct billing to insurance companies will be completed if possible.



Amy practices out of the Kentville Chiropractic clinic space. Located in Center Square, Kentville (401-B Main Street). The clinic is near the rear entrance of Half Acre Cafe. Plenty of parking in Center Square.
